Really tasty grub in the middle of this surprisingly excellent theme park, where China's greatest attractions are reproduced in miniature

    Pineapple-delight

Pineapple Delight in downtown Panyu, Guangzhou Province, China,
Located in the new residential build of Panyu, writes Rachelle, where restaurants are opening every other day, striving to outdo each other in decor and as you can see, presentation. Sweet and Sour Pork served in a Pineapple.  Not what I'd expect in a traditional Chinese restaurant, nor have I seen this in any of my years travelling here. Wow.  And it tasted as it looks.  Awful.

Sticky sweet chunks of Honey glazed Pork chop, Yellow, Red and Green Capsicum, Onion, chunks of Pineapple and Chives. With a horrific amount of sweet and sour sauce, served in a Pineapple. Chinese style.
Did I mention there was a tree in the centre of the restaurant?
    Brilliant.

    Bill for one, including bottle of beer: RMB 25 (GB£2.00 / US$  / AU$5.00 )
